Privacy
What we collect, what we don't, and where your data lives. Written plainly, because you'd smell anything else.
Last updated 22 July 2026.
This website
By default, nothing personally identifying. No accounts, no cookies asking to follow you around, no forms fishing for your details.
The one exception is the spray-window checker on the home page. When you type a town, that town name goes to a geocoding service (Open-Meteo) to find its coordinates, and the coordinates go to our own weather engine so it can answer you. That's the whole trip. The lookup isn't tied to your name, because we don't know your name.
Analytics run only if a GA4 tag is present on the site — and at launch there isn't one. If we ever add one, this page will say so before it does anything.
The app
The app collects more, because the product doesn't work otherwise:
- Your account email — to sign you in and reach you when something needs saying.
- Your paddock locations and job settings — CropWindow can't call the right day without knowing where your ground is and what you're trying to do on it. That's the product, not a side harvest.
This syncs to CropWindow's own server, hosted in Australia — the founder's server, not a third-party cloud platform. Forecasts are fetched from Open-Meteo using your paddock coordinates, so the weather you see is for the ground you actually work.
What we never do
- Sell your data. To anyone, for anything.
- Run ad trackers.
- Show your farm, your paddocks or your jobs to anyone else.
Your records are yours
Export means your records leave with you, in a form you can use. Delete means delete — email rynno188@gmail.com and your account and its data are gone, not archived somewhere with a euphemism attached.
Questions about any of this: rynno188@gmail.com. You'll get an answer from a person on a farm, not a policy team.
